50% off registration for Volunteer coaches. Coaches must attend coaches training on September 7 and September 9, or the scholarship discount will be forfeited. The purpose is to ensure a quality experience and positive cultural experience.

OVERVIEW
The Villarreal Nebraska Academy – Submarine League provides a fun, positive, and developmentally supportive environment for elementary children to learn the basic fundamentals of soccer and encourage a variety of natural body movements. Designed for children ages 5 in Kindergarten to age 10, the program will provide 30-min of game training and 30-min of game play, some sessions may be 15-min of game training and 45-min of game play.
Submarines are kids and students first. Everyone plays to learn and have fun!

COACHING
The Submarine League will be directed and coordinated by Volunteers under the guidance of Villarreal Nebraska Academy staff. All Submarine League trainings/games will be provided by Volunteers, all volunteers must attend 3 VNA Coaching sessions prior to working with youth, must complete Safe-Sport Training, CDC Concussion Training, and a background check.
SESSIONS
The Submarine program will be offered each year following a seasonal pattern:
Fall Session 2020 Friday Night or Saturday Morning dates: August: 21/22, 28/29, 11/12, 18/19, 25/26, Oct 2/3, rain-out makeup date Oct 9/10 ,
Spring Session 2021 Friday Night or Saturday Morning dates: April 9/10, 16/17, 23/24, April 30/May 1, May 7/8, May 14/15, rain-out makeup dates May 21/22
Summer Session 2021 Friday Night or Saturday Morning dates: June 4/5, 11/12, 18/19, 25/26, July 9/10, 16/17 rain-out makeup date July 23/24.
The league is an in-house program and provides 6 Weeks of Soccer.
The League include:

UNIFORMS AND EQUIPMENT
Submarines players should wear their Submarine shirt, athletic shorts, shin guards covered by socks, and tennis shoes or cleats. Each player should bring a water bottle to each session and a ball. Size 3 for ages 5-8, Size 4 for ages 8-11.
